I replied, “that’s nice.”
He said, “I like you.”
I said, “let’s be friends.”
Now the roles have changed.
I start to like him but I don’t think he’ll see me that way.
I set the boundaries and dug my own grave.
In the end, I made a friend that inspired me to fall in love.
