After one week of orientation, meetings, and getting to know the faculty, I can conclude that I made the best decision. The faculty here want me to succeed and if possible, they wish to see me finish my Ph.D. within a 3-4 year range. This means that I’ll be taking winter and summer classes, I may not return back to California for a long time, but that is a good thing for now.
